HTC Android Series Mobiles released in 2009...




HTC, High Tech Computer Corporation a Taiwan based smartphone manufacturer initially made smartphones Primarily based on Microsoft Windows Mobile Platform but this year (2009), it was the first one who started using Google Android Platform for the Mobile Phones.

Today I am going to tell you about the phones of HTC released after HTC joined the Open Handset Alliance community to confirm HTC's hardware a standard for running the Android OS.



HTC Dream




The HTC Dream or T-Mobile G1 (in US & Europe) or Era G1 (Poland) or Optus (in Australia) is an Internet-enabled 3G smartphone. It was the first phone ever used Android Mobile device Platform. The phone is also a part of open standards effort of the Open Handset Alliance.




A Slider smartphone released October 22, 2008 (United States), February 5, 2009 (Australia), February 21, 2009 (Singapore), June 2, 2009 (Canada). It use Android 1.6 platform, powered with 3.7 v1150 mAh lithium ion battery. The CPU is 528 MHz Qualcomm MSM7201A ARM11 processor and it having Flash memory 256 MB and with microSD slot supports up to 16 GB, Quad band GSM 850 900 1800 1900 MHz GPRS/EDGE and Dual band UMTS 1700 2100 MHz HSDPA/HSUPA (US/Europe) (7.2/2 Mbit/s), a Memory of 192 MB DDR SDRAM. It got Multitouch capacitive 320 x 480 px, 3.2 in (81 mm) touchscreen display, having HVGA 65,536 color LCD at 180 pixels per inch (ppi). 3.2 megapixel with auto focus, Wi-Fi (802.11b/g), Bluetooth 2.0+EDR, ExtUSB, A-GPS,  QWERTY keyboard, trackball, volume controls, 3-axis accelerometer. It's successor is HTC Magic.


HTC Magic




The HTC Magic/Sapphire or T-Mobile myTouch 3G (in US) , the Rogers HTC Magic (in Canada) and the docomo HT-03A ( in Japan). It is the second Android Phone by HTC (first was the HTC Dream).  It was first showed off on 17 February 2009 at the Mobile World Congress in Barcelona, by Vodafone , For sale, it went in Spain on 27 April, in May 2009 ( UK and Taiwan), and in June 2009  to The Netherlands, Hong Kong and Singapore. 





It is basically a type of Candybar smartphone furnished with Android operating system version 1.6 , Internal rechargeable removable lithium-ion battery of Power 3.7 V 1340 mAh, 528 MHz Qualcomm MSM7201A with ARM11 processor (PV32B) or 528 MHz Qualcomm MSM7200A ARM11 processor (PVT32A), Storage capacity 512 MB of Flash, microSD slot: supports up to 16 GB, 192/288 MB RAM, 512 MB ROM. Quad band GSM 850 900 1800 1900 MHz GPRS/EDGE and Tri band UMTS 900 1700 2100 MHz HSDPA/HSUPA ( in US/Europe) (7.2/2 Mbit/s).  Multi-touch capacitive touchscreen display of 320 x 480 px, 3.2 in (81 mm), HVGA, 65,536 color LCD at 180 pixels per inch (ppi), 3.2 megapixel with auto focus Camera, Wi-Fi (802.11b/g), Bluetooth 2.0+EDR, ExtUSB, A-GPS connectivity, Dynamic look with volume controls, proximity and ambient light sensors, 3-axis accelerometer.   




HTC Hero



The HTC Hero or T-Mobile G2 Touch (in UK, Austria, Germany, Netherlands and Hungary), and Era G2 Touch (in Poland). It was the third Android platform phone manufactured by the HTC, as part of the Android (A) series. But the major change in this phone was a 3.5mm audio jack, multi-touch capability, Adobe Flash support and the HTC Sense featue experience. It was first publicised in London on June 24, 2009 . On July 09 it was released in Europe. In Us it was launched by two networks companies Sprint  and Cellular South on October 11, 2009 on November 9, 2009. It is distinguished in white Teflon phone cover for GSM and grey rubber cover for CDMA.




Its Specifications are 320 x 480, 3.2 inch Multi-Touch Screen with lipophobic coating. Qualcomm MSM 7200A 528 MHz ARM processor, RAM 288 MB, ROM 512 MB with microSD slot (SDHC compatible). Operating system Android 1.5 and HTC Sense feature. Power Battery of 1350 mAh for GSM edition and 1500 mAh for CDMA edition having talk time of 470 minutes (GSM) to 420 minutes (WCDMA) and  Standby time of 440 hours GSM to 750 hours (WCDMA),  5 megapixel rear-facing camera with autofocus A-GPS. For GSM it is Quad band GSM/GPRS/EDGE (GSM 850, GSM 900, GSM 1800, GSM 1900): Dual band UMTS/HSPA (UMTS 900, UMTS 2100) in Europe and Quad band GSM/GPRS/EDGE (GSM 850, GSM 900, GSM 1800, GSM 1900): Dual band UMTS/HSPA (UMTS 850, UMTS 1900) in North America. In CDMA version CDMA/EV-DO Rev. A 800/1900 MHz. Bluetooth 2.0 + EDR & A2DP, Wi-Fi (802.11b/g), 3.5 mm audio jack, microphone, speaker, it Supports MP3, AAC(AAC, AAC+, AAC-LC), AMR-NB, WAV, Ogg Vorbis, MIDI and Windows Media® Audio 9 music formats and MPEG-4, H.263, H.264 and Windows Media® Video 9 video formats.



HTC Tatoo



HTC Tattoo or HTC Click is the latest Android phone from HTC and the second phone featured with HTCSense interface. It was announced on September 8, 2009. 






Its specifications are : 240 x 320 2.8 inch Resistive Touchscreen, 3.2 megapixel fixed focus rear-facing camera A-GPS, RAM: 256 MB, ROM: 512 MB, Wi-Fi (802.11b/g), Bluetooth 2.0 + EDR & A2DP, Operating system Android 1.6 and HTC Sense, microSD slot (SDHC compatible), 3.5 mm audio jack, microphone, speaker, FM Radio, HTC ExtUSB (Mini-B USB backwards compatible) and Accelerometer

HTC tatoo got the customizable covers, means users can change the covers according to their choice. It is also available in many stores online as well as offline.....
